Clodagh came back from the annual trade fair in Dublin all excited about a couple of new supply partners and a shift in vision for the shop's future.
From a small workshop in County Down we have brought these stand-out linen raincoats (main image above). We did a shoot in Schull, on Cork's Atlantic seaboard, and you'll see more of the style and all the colours online as soon as the product shots are done.
Another small workshop close-by Kinsale has designed some classic smocks, which are as practical and smart as they are well-priced. Again, colours and more shots up online soon.
And as to the future vision, Granny's Bottom Drawer will be searching out and showing collections of high-end homeware. We have just got in a line of stunningly simple jars, pots and jugs from Denmark and we're really excited about glass pieces out of Waterford that are bringing together generations of cutting skills with modern ideas from international designers.
