Remake
After a couple of short-lived designs that didn't live up to hopes, we have settled on an all-new ultra clean and clear site. The floating product shots on white are for clarity, the lifestyle shots are for context and ideas and the writing is by way of recreating a sense of what looking, shopping and chatting in Granny's Bottom Drawer is like.
The easy part is putting up product pictures, the hard bit is creating the lifestyle images and writing the insightful sentences that reveal the generational skills of Ireland's master craftsmen and women, its world class weavers, knitters and makers. This is something you see and feel when you pick up an Inis Meain wrap or a Cooper Milking Chair. It's something you talk about with Clodagh in the shop. And it's something we're slowly, slowly transferring online as best we can.
If you have some preferences as to what should go up online next or how we can make the site a better reflection of Granny's Bottom Drawer on Main Street, we'd be delighted to hear from you.
The overarching idea is that this site is your club. Your entree to Ireland's finest, as chosen by your trusted curator, Clodagh.
